Midweight Essentials
A sweater can shield the body and still reveal the woman. Malo understands the art of both. Classic cashmere takes shape in ribs, Shetland textures, and clean flat knits, drawing warmth close while keeping every line in play. Substantial, seductive, and impossible to disappear inside.
Cashmere 2/28 — for Malo, less a yarn than a timeless tactile experience. Sourced from the Hircus Laniger goat across the unspoiled plateaus of Inner Mongolia and Shaanxi, the fiber is certified extra-fine, between 15 and 15.5 microns, carded rather than combed to preserve its natural loft, and dyed in loose fiber rather than finished yarn so that color merges into the fiber itself. Here it appears in four registers: the Canessa cable, Malo's signature knit; a carded Shetland cashmere prized for its textured, Anglo-Saxon-inflected hand and a palette drawn from unspoiled Irish landscape; a ribbed construction; and a plain flat knit — together forming the collection's most grounded, cold-weather core. From 5 to 14 Gauge.
